| Description | This requirement is for the purchase and installation of 70 access control panels, keypad readers, and electric strikes. Removal of existing mechanical hardware and install door wrap or plates as needed. Install new lever lock with new cores. The equipment used must be compatible with the Paxon systems currently in place. The purpose of this requirement is to secure rooms located in facilities throughout the base that have SIPR/NIPR, with a controlled system that will record who has entered the room ensuring accountability. Along with the Paxon compatibility, all electrical must meet current standards, installation of communications wiring must be CAT6. |
