Description | First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms will be received at the above-mentioned location and date, until 4:00 PM, local time. The work contemplated includes furnishing and installing approximately 5,800 feet of ductile iron water line pipe, associated fittings, valves, fire hydrants, water services, tie-in to existing water main, thrust restraints, testing and disinfection, temporary surface restoration and maintenance, permanent surface restoration, traffic control, erosion control and other work as shown on the contract drawings. A BIDDER'S FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID MEETING SHALL CAUSE ANY BID SUBMITTED BY THAT BIDDER TO BE DEEMED NON-RESPONSIVE AND THE BID WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED. No proposal will be considered by the West Slope Water District unless the Bid contains a statement by the Bidder that the Bidder will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and 40 U.S.C. 276(a) pertaining to prevailing wages, as applicable. Contractor licensing under ORS 468A.720 for working with asbestos-containing materials is not a requirement of this project. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether or not the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120.The West Slope Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of the West Slope Water District. The West Slope Water District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so. |
