The work includes the construction of approximately: - Management Unit 1 (23.7 acres) o Annual Monitoring o Invasive Brush and Woody Removal o Supplemental Seeding o Grow-in Maintenance o Prescribed Burn o Herbaceous Invasives Control - Management Unit 2 (14.4 acres) o Annual Monitoring o Invasive Shrub Control o Selective Woody Removal o Herbaceous Invasives Control o Supplemental Seeding o Prescribed Burn - Management Unit 3 (7.8 acres) o Annual Monitoring o Invasive Shrub Control o Selective Woody Removal o Herbaceous Invasives Control o Prescribed Burn o Supplemental Seeding o Grow-in Maintenance - Management Unit 4 (19.4 acres) o Annual Monitoring o Invasive Brush and Woody Removal o Herbaceous Invasives Control - Management Unit 5 (1.8 acres) o Annual Monitoring - Bid Alternate #1 - Management Unit 6 (2.6 acres) o Invasive Woody Removal o Selective Herbaceous Invasives Control o Native Seeding o Site Prep and Dormant Season Mowing o Grow-In Maintenance together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The planholders list, addendums, and bid tabulations will be available for download on-line electronically The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction, dated January 1, 2022, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. A proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Woodbury shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. Implement restoration activities defined within the Management Units of Valley Creek Park which consists but are not limited to: Herbaceous Invasives Control; Selective Herbaceous Invasives Control; Invasive Brush Removal, Shrub Control, and Woody Removal; Selective Invasive Brush Removal, Shrub Control, and Woody Removal; Supplemental Seeding; Prescribed Burning; Site Preparation and Dormant Season Mowing; Grow-In Maintenance.
