Wilhelm Road Slide Repair Project

A motion on the bids will be taken at the regular Donegal Township meeting held at 7 p.m. on Thursday August 11, 2022. The WILHELM ROAD SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair a slide along Wilhelm Road in Donegal Township, Washington County, PA and install rip rap streambank stabilization along a section of stream impacted by the slide. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Donegal Township. The bid envelope must be clearly marked WILHELM ROAD SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT. Donegal Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the WILHELM ROAD SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Donegal Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
