Description

Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Paving and Removal: Estimated area of 32,250 SF to be prepped and paved at 2.5 inches thick compacted. 3125 lineal feet by 10 feet wide and blending to 12 feet wide in some transition areas. Replace 5/8" top course as needed for proper compaction. Estimated area of 32,250 SF of asphalt to be removed and disposed of. Removal and disposal may be done by excavation or grinding the existing asphalt in place. The grindings may be used as part of the base prep for the new asphalt. The average thickness of existing asphalt is 2.5 to 4 inches.
