Recreation Center-Leisure Pool Leak Detection/ Repairs and Pool Re-Plaster

All leak repairs are located within the Leisure Pool system at the City of Longmont Recreation Center. Past leak detection efforts will be provided to the service provider. Pressure testing with advanced pool leak detection including sniffer applications is highly recommended. 1. Complete pressure testing to identify leisure pool plumbing leak(s), repair leaks, and replace all VGB grates and mounts to code. 2. Removal of the existing 6 lane lap pool and hot tub plaster, re-plaster using Diamond Brite Finish or similar product (inter-Glass, EcoFinish of new Diamond Brite Finish (or approved equal) at uniform thickness flush to top of existing ceramic tile surface. New SGM Bond Coat sealant shall be applied below new Diamond Brite Finish (or approved equal) from edge of existing ceramic tile. New SGM Bond Coat sealant shall also be applied below new Diamond Brite Finish from existing transitional items (such as, but not limited to: drains, surface skimmers, ladders, stairs, anchors, pipe covers, return lines, and ceramic tile surfaces Asses, replace, and mount to code all VGB grates on the 6 lane lap pool. All similar products offered will require specification sheets for the Project Team to consider.
