Northwest Area Watermain Replacement Project

Water Utilities, Pavement - Marking, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Concrete Pavement, Sawcutting/Sidewalk/Pavement, Street/Road Asphalt Milling, ADA Curb Ramps, Traffic Control, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Pavement Removal, Stormwater Improvements, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete) The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of 6,500 LF of 8 inch water main, 145 LF of 6 inch water main, (24) 8 inch gate valves, (1) 6 inch tapping sleeve and tapping gate valve; (10) Fire Hydrant Assemblies with 6" Gate Valves; (130) water service curb stop valve replacements; cast-iron pipe removal; SRT ductbank and vault removals; removals of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, valley gutters, and bituminous pavement; new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, ADA ramps, pigmented imprinted concrete, and bituminous pavement; storm sewer catch basin installations and modifications; street signage; pavement markings; seed bed preparation and seeding with hydro-mulch; earthwork and site grading; erosion control; traffic control; temporary water service; mobilization, incidental items, and all other work as fully depicted in the drawings and project manual. Each bid shall be submitted on a form furnished as part of the contract documents and must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder's Bond with Acknowledgement of Surety, Acknowledgement of Principal, and Power of Attorney in an amount not less than 5% of the full amount of the bid made payable to the order of or for the benefit of the City of Minot, North Dakota. The bid bond shall be executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, conditioned that if the principal's Bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, within ten (10) days after Notice of Award, the Principal shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and contractor's performance and payment bonds as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the City of Minot. A bid submitted without this information properly enclosed in the bid bond envelope shall not be read nor considered and the envelope shall be resealed and bid returned to the bidder immediately. Each bid shall be sealed and delivered to the City of Minot at the location designated in this notice for the opening of proposals at or before the time in this notice provided. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
