The Owner is the City of Buffalo, and the work sites are located in the City of Buffalo. The project limits are at 21 intersections on: Main Street, Bailey Avenue, Delaware Avenue (10), Jefferson Avenue (2), Porter Avenue (3), Hertel Avenue, Ontario Street, E. Delavan Avenue and South Park Avenue. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Installation of signs and pavement markings; removal of traffic signal and pedestrian signal infrastructure; installation of a new traffic signal system and pedestrian signal infrastructure; installation of new rectangular rapid flash beacons; removal work and installation of sidewalks, curb and curb ramps; installation of a curb extension; modifications to an existing center median to install a new pedestrian refuge area; installation of new inductance detectors; minor landscaping work and surface restorations; maintaining existing traffic signals, and maintenance and protection of traffi This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2022 as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation's website must be followed by the successful bidder.
