Gomez Affordable Housing

To provide the necessary infrastructure to the Pettway/Gomez neighborhood to allow for the future construction of affordable housing. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the construction of roadway sections, on-street parking, street lighting, curbs and gutters, milling & resurfacing, pavement markings & signage, concrete sidewalks, stormwater management/drainage system, water distribution and sewage collection systems, all sitework/earthwork/excavation/embankment/grading, sod & landscaping, and all other incidental work as shown and specified in the Contract Documents or necessary to complete the project. The proposed Pettway/Gomez Affordable Housing project (i.e. the site) is located near the northeast corner of US Highway 1 and Pettway Street in Hobe Sound, Martin County, Florida. The location of the site is graphically depicted on the Site Vicinity Map (2018 aerial photograph) as well as on a reproduction of the 2003 USGS Quadrangle Map of “Gomez Inlet, Florida”, both presented on our Figure No. 1. The USGS Quadrangle Map depicts the site as being relatively level with an average surface elevation of about 25-30 feet relative to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
