Description | Boat Dock Removal and Deployment for FMD2 in FY23 The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. Question Deadline 09/07/2022 at 12:00 PM ET Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract. The awarded supplier will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement. Example attached. All bidders must sign and attach the Standard Affirmation & Disclosure Form to their bid in Ohio Buys. This may be signed electronically through Adobe or through a wet signature. If this is not attached, the winning bidder will be asked to sign before a contract can be routed for review. soliciting bids for the removal of 7 boat docks this fall and their deployment next spring. These docks vary in size and location (see below) but are all stored on-site. We typically look to remove these in early December and deploy them between March 15 and 30th . All docks have wheels and can be pulled or pushed into position and will be stored in the parking lot near the boat ramps. All wheels must be set on wood blocks and chocked in place to prevent movement and protect the asphalt. The spring dates will depend on weather. For example, good fishing weather will push deployment towards the 15 th or cold spring weather, or ice may delay the work. Spuds can be stored at your facility, or you can transport them to our Willow Point Work Unit (6805 Wahl Rd., Vickery OH 43464). If you would like to visit the sites, please call to arrange a visit (Mike Wilkerson 419-429-8375). |
