General Contracting Services for the Construction of the Northampton Middle/High School Modernization

The project is generally described as both renovation and addition of existing school and CTE building. The renovation building construction totaling 88,852 square feet will include minor structural alterations, replacement of brick veneer, replacement of the complete roof, new geo-thermal well system with associated mechanical equip-ment, new sprinkler system, fire alarm system, plumbing systems and fixtures, electrical systems, interior systems to include new partitions, casework, doors and finishes, hazard material abatement. The addition building construction totaling 86,472 square feet will include wall footings, column footings, thickened slabs, steel columns, steel beams and joists, metal deck roofing with modified 2 ply bitumen for low roofs and standing seam for high roofs, CMU with brick veneer exterior closure, geo-thermal well system with associated HVAC equipment, plumbing, fire alarm and fire sprinkler system, and food service equipment.
