| Description | Contractor shall replace a twin barrel CMP culvert with a single 5’-8” x 15’ 1” aluminum box culvert. Township will furnish unassembled box components. Contractor shall assemble and install. Install E&S measures, divert stream flow. Remove existing twin pipes, excavate for box. Set box culvert invert 12 inches below the stream bottom and backfill bottom with existing stream bed material. Improve stream channel upstream and down. Place and compact stone backfill around the culvert. Provide precast concrete blocks for headwalls and endwalls. Place R-6 Riprap on all 4 corners. Reconstruct the roadway. Control traffic, and perform all necessary incidental work, appurtenances and site restoration. |
