Description

The project consists of multiple work scopes for all of the work necessary for the construction of a new PreK-12th School and Wellness Center. The total square footage for this School and Wellness Center is just under 125,000 sqft with a new parking lot, access roads, elementary playground, outdoor basketball court. We performed our scope of services for the project in accordance with our Proposal QTB169210 to Dr. Rae Villebrun, Superintendent, Independent School District #319, dated November 21, 2022, and authorized by Dr. Villebrun on November 22, 2022. The following list describes the geotechnical tasks completed in accordance with our authorized scope of services. Reviewing the background information and reference documents previously cited. Clearing the exploration locations of underground utilities. The exploration locations were selected by ICS. Ulland Brothers, Inc. staked the exploration locations. The surface elevations at the exploration locations were acquired by JPJ Engineering, Inc. using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The Soil Boring Location Sketch included in the Appendix shows the approximate locations of the borings. Performing 10 additional standard penetration test (SPT) borings, denoted as SB-20 to SB-29, to nominal depths of 10 to 24 feet below grade.
