Plumbing Services 2022

The intent of this Request for Proposal is to establish an agreement to provide Plumbing Services on a non-exclusive basis to the Saint Louis Zoo as a preferred vendor, as required for a term of two (2) years with an option for two (2) additional years. All pricing for the core items are to remain firm for the first two (2) years of the contract, and thereafter are subject to adjustment for each subsequent year upon approval of the authorized representative of the Saint Louis Zoo. This may consist of: o Domestic water mains, (emergency, or scheduled repairs) o Backflow inspections and repairs o All types of liquid pumps o Sewer lines (repairs and installations) o Any type of plumbing related repair or installation. o It may be necessary to provide excavation for an underground repair or installation. For any work that may become necessary in the Elephant Management Facility, the technician(s) will need to have a current TB test. The Zoo does not administer it & is not responsible for the expense. Results take approximately 72 hours. All questions must be received by May 18, 2022 for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous. Addendums will be placed on the Zoo website as they become available: stlzoo.org/vendor. Any oral responses shall be unofficial and not binding on the Zoo. The Saint Louis Zoo reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept any Proposal, should it deem such action to be in its interests.
