Residential Solid Waste Collection and Disposal

The Town of Wake Forest (hereinafter, the Town) Solid Waste Collection services are a consistent year-round collection. Both trash and recycling are collected on a weekly basis for all residents and bulk is collected weekly on a scheduled basis. In fiscal year 2020-2021, solid waste collection tonnages totaled to 17,087.57 tons and was a total of 16,391.14 tons in fiscal year 2021-2022. The term of this agreement will be for a minimum of a 3 (three) year (36 months) period beginning November 1, 2023, and concluding on or after October 31, 2026, with the option of a contract renewal at the discretion of the Town of Wake Forest
