| Description | The Department of General Services (DGS or the "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure structured cable and wiring Materials and Services Inside Plant for the State of Maryland. The Master Contracts resulting from this RFP will provide State agencies with the flexibility of obtaining cable and wiring products and/or services quickly and efficiently by issuing Purchase Order Request for Proposal (PORFP) specific to its needs. Structured Cable and Wiring Materials and Services Inside Plant: Structured cabling and wiring systems inside State premises and between adjacent buildings where existing pathways exist for communications cabling; and Functional Area II - Site Survey and System Analysis Inside Plant: Include walkthrough and advisory/design services inside State premises and adjacent buildings. |
