Description

The annual removal and disposal of approximately 4,000 dry tons of softening sludge (using wet process) from the sludge lagoons at the City of Ashland Water Treatment Facility on Cleveland Avenue. Each bidder is required to furnish with its bid, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Holder of Bid Documents MUST be recorded with the City PRIOR to bid opening. Each Bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of the project. The right is reserved to accept or reject any and all bids and award the contract on the basis determined by the City of Ashland to be the best bid.
