Description

It is the intent of the Contract Documents to provide the requirements and specifications for the construction associated with the Parkway Church Drainage Ditch Concrete Lining. The project scope for the project includes but is not limited to: Traffic control as required, including all barricades, signs and traffic handling Install SWPPP Prepare Right-of-Way/Easement including removing vegetation and other obstructions Remove existing concrete Excavate and regrade ditch as required Shape ditch to the line and grades shown in the plans Install concrete liner with reinforcement, tie-ins, ramp, access drive, storm sewer and all other items shown in the plans Seed all disturbed areas Final site cleanup Hardin County, Texas will accept sealed bids for furnishing necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the construction of the Hardin County, Texas - Parkway Church Drainage Ditch Concrete Lining. The project is generally described as the concrete lining of an existing drainage ditch through the installation and placement of concrete and stabilization materials as required in the contract documents. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to Hardin County, Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. Bids may be held by the Hardin County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award. Hardin County, Texas is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual identity, gender identity or national origin. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. The right is reserved by Hardin County, Texas, as the Countys interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. The project is generally described as the concrete lining of an existing drainage ditch through the installation and placement of concrete and stabilization materials as required in the contract documents.
