US 2/South Fork Skykomish River Bridge 2/119 - Scour Repair

STIP ID WDNW-1096 This project will place heavy loose riprap around pier 3 on the southeast corner, also the stream channel west of the pier, to cover the exposed footing and prevent the bridge footing from scouring. In addition this project will re-vegetate work access area with native plants. As of March 03, 2023, this project is in final planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024.
