Description

Questions concerning this Request For Quote must be submitted to the Property & Asset Project Manager via email at ddauphinee@valleytech.k12.ma.us before 10:00 A.M on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 The Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District seeks the furnishing of all labor and equipment necessary to regrade and renovate/rebuild the BVT baseball infield and a portion where the baseball infield dirt and grass outfield meet. The baseball infield has been stripped and graded to within a 2% slope. All infield layout measurements must be to National Federation of State High School Associations Baseball Field (NFHS) Official Measurements. The project is located in the Town of Upton, MA and is expected to begin and end in October 2023 A. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Shall Measure and Mark all infield borders. 2. Must use laser grader to rough grade complete infield subgrade. 3. Shall add all organics (loam) to all turf areas. 4. Shall add supplied Stadium Red clay to all skinned areas. 5. Must laser grade complete infield to .05% from center. 6. Shall prepare all loam areas for sod installation. 7. Shall install supplied 100% Kentucky Blue Grass sod. 8. Infield shall be rebuilt to OFFICIAL MEASUREMENTS shown in DRAWING 2 (Diagram 2). 9. Must incorporate a stone dust batters cage in designated area (see Drawing 1). 10. Shall include stone dust dugout fronts. 11. Must incorporate supplied red clay conditioner and set new base anchors and bases. 12. Must compact/roll complete infield to ensure consistent matching finish grades. BVT Baseball Infield Renovation. The scope of work for this solicitation includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of all labor and equipment necessary to regrade and renovate/rebuild the BVT baseball infield and a portion where the baseball infield dirt and grass outfield meet.
