This Section includes the work to provide and install storm drainage structures, piping and related facilities in the locations shown on the drawings, as detailed and in these Specifications. Provide, install and maintain barricades, guards, fencing warning lights, signs or any other protective devices as may be necessary throughout the project and as conditions require to protect the general public and to protect the work of this project and as may be directed by the Architect or other authorities having jurisdiction. Description: 1. Mass Earthwork (excavate, screen, amend, respread) 2. Sand Borrow (31 20 00, 2.01, F) 3. Fine Grade and Seed (32 92 00, 2.01, A) 4. Fine Grade and Sod (32 92 00, 2.01, B) Location- Percival Park 20 Highland Avenue Berlin, Connecticut As security, each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashiers check or Bid Bond from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut in the amount of 5% of the Bid, payable to The Town of Berlin. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut each in the amount of 100% of the Bid, payable to the Town of Berlin. Bidders shall not include federal or state taxes. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. Upon review of the Bids, the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding and to make awards in any manner that is most beneficial to the Owner.
