Description

Contractor who is a licensed electrician shall implement Hazardous Energy Controls on the ventilation system. A non-DOD contractor who is a licensed electrician is authorized to follow the NNSY lockout/tags plus program of controlling hazardous energy. The contractor will place a lock on the disconnect box that powers the ventilation system before performing work on the system. Contractor shall open each upper containment cover of the two ventilation scrubbers. Prior to installation of the new filters, the contractor shall provide the NNSY the opportunity to visually inspect the filters and nozzles. After installation of the new filters, the contractor shall provide the NNSY the opportunity to visually inspect the reassembled system
