| Description | For 3,500 cubic yards of live, sharp, screened, loaded, delivered, mixed with town supplied salt and stockpiled in the Town's sand/salt storage facility located off Route 235 in Lincolnville. Specification: sand that is live and sharp and screened to pass a 1/2-inch maximum size square mesh with no more than 5% passing the No. 200 sieve. This winter sand is to be mixed by Contractor with salt (at the storage facility in Lincolnville) at a rate of 100 pounds of salt per one (1) cubic yard of winter sand. The winter sand shall be moist, not wet, when stockpiled. The Town of Lincolnville will provide the salt delivered to Lincolnville. |
