Lake Arbor Bank Improvements and Dredging Design

Professional services for the development of biddable design documents for improvements to Lake Arbor. The design will expand upon the recently completed preliminary engineering study that evaluated alternatives to improving the quality of Lake Arbor and stabilizing the banks of the lake. The project design and construction will address the following desired improvements to Lake Arbor: 1.Dredging the forebay to a stable elevation (approximately three feet of dredging) to remove sediment accumulation. 2.Constructing riprap stabilization along the perimeter of the forebay where unstable bank conditions are present, such as the southwest shoreline of the forebay. 3.Replace a short section of the sidewalk on the northeastern side of the forebay that has repeatedly cracked due to bank erosion. 4.Dredging approximately six acres on the western side of main body of the Lake where sediment deposit is substantial. Construct riprap stabilization along the perimeter of the lake to stabilize eroding and failing banks. 5.Replace a section of sidewalk along the southern edge of the lake in areas where erosion is undermining the sidewalk, causing it to crack.
