Description

Work to be performed under the Large Valve Rehabilitation Task 2 project consists of furnishing all labor, materials equipment, tools, supplies at four valve sites along Peoria Street as shown in the exhibit below. Two sites consist of two new 24-inch valves and their associated vaults and appurtenances, one site involves removing an existing 24-inch valve and vault and installing a 27-inch spool piece, and one site involves removing a 12- inch and 24-inch bypass line and three bypass valves, removing and replacing the two 16-inch and one 24-inch valves, vault, and appurtenances and installing two temporary line-stops for isolation purposes. All sites require cathodic protection installation, groundwater control, and traffic control.
