Peddrew Yates Bathroom Repairs, Phase 1

Interior renovations for selected shower areas located in the Main Wing of Peddrew-Yates Dormitory. The project includes selective demolition, plumbing renovations, ceiling register replacements, light fixture replacements, waterproofing membrane, ceramic tile, suspended ceilings, and other finishes. The total project area is approximately 998 GSF for Phase I. The Owner reserves the right to pursue other appropriate remedies to include, but not be limited to, termination for default.The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A Bid Bond is required. Any bid (including the Total Base Bid plus all Additive Bid Items) which exceeds five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe amount of the bid (the Bid Bond).
