Description

Construct two (2) upcoming steel pipe projects (to be bid separately). The intent of this SOQ is to certify Tunnel Subcontractors for both of the projects. Below is a summary of each project: 1. 60-inch Gun Club Rd Pipeline from E 6th Ave to I-70 Approximately 7,500 linear feet and estimated $6.5 - $7.0 million value. The project will include a 72-inch diameter trenchless crossing under I-70 of approximately 430 linear feet. 2. 36-inch Pipeline from Quincy Intertie to the Wemlinger WPF Pipeline design will start mid-2021. Project will include a trenchless crossing under Quincy Road. No estimate is available currently. Allowable tunneling methodologies are as follows: 1. 60” - slurry microtunnel boring machine. 2. 36” – tunnel boring machine (TBM) or microtunnel boring machine.
