WWTF Digester Cleaning

The project involves the removal and disposal of accumulated residual material from up to four anaerobic sludge digestion tanks located at the GLSD WWTF. Contract Documents may be examined at the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District's office at 240 Charles Street, North Andover, Massachusetts 01845. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted via email will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the email listed above Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the value of the bid in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders, Section 00100. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, DO NOT apply to this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
