Description | Black Creek Cooling Water Facility MDEQ Rehabilitation of High Hazard Potential Dams Engineering Services The engineering services are to be provided in response to dam safety requirements to evaluate the adequacy of the existing dam spillway at the Black Creek Cooling Water Facility reservoir in Jackson County, Mississippi. The selected Engineer shall provide a Probable Maximum Flood (PMF) analysis of the Black Creek Cooling Water Facility dam and reservoir; an Incremental Hazard Evaluation to evaluate the incremental increase in consequences due to a potential dam failure; and complete a formal report of findings of the evaluations which will include recommendations for sizing of a new spillway structure, if applicable. The project is being funded partly through the Department of Homeland Security Fiscal Year 2019 High Hazard Potential Dams Rehabilitation Grand, CFDA 97.041- National Dam Safety Program, awarded on September 9,2019, and formally amended on January 15, 2020.
