Description | The City of Williamsport (Williamsport Bureau of Fire) is requesting bids for removal of 2 old rooftop AC units, and installation of new ones (2 of them) at 440 Walnut Street, Williamsport Fire Headquarters. Interested contractors whom would like to see the building in person are strongly encouraged to do so, by calling 570-327-1602 and setting up an appointment. It should be noted that STATE WAGES RATES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/15/2023 4:00 PM Please feel free to ask any and all questions in the Clarifications within PennBid. The City will be very responsive to them. AC Units Scope of Work Remove 2 existing rooftop units. Remove power wiring, gas piping and low voltage controls. Furnish/install (1) new 6-ton rooftop unit and (1) new 4-ton rooftop unit. Furnish/install (2) new condensate drains to spill onto the roof. Reinstall power wiring, control wiring and gas piping from the existing piping. Provide crane service for the job. This is for the same day remove and reinstall the rooftop units. Gas Piping Scope of Work: Remove existing gas piping from the wall flange. Reinstall approximately 87 feet of black iron gas piping and associated fitting and valves. A cashier's check or an acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the City of Williamsport, in an amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the largest possible total for the bid submitted, must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable equal opportunity laws and regulations. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the Bids and in the Bidding. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened. |
