Counties : Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Turnpike Road Name: Sign Repair - Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole Limits: Midpoint Project(s): 4436115E211(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: The purpose of this Contract is to provide Sign Repair and Replacement Operations, including permanent repairs, pursuant to a Governor's and/or Presidential Declaration of a State Emergency. This Contract will be a regional contract that includes Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Polk, and Seminole counties within D-8/Florida's Turnpike. The Contractor shall perform Sign Repair and Replacement Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department. 1. No Pre-bid Conference. 2. Award is contingent upon legislative budget approval and availability of funds. 3. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within 10 days. 4. General Liability, Auto and Workman's Compensation Insurance required. 5. FHWA 1273/Davis-Bacon Wage Rates 6. The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida verifying the Contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this Contract the dollar amount is established at $500,000.00. For Bids Over $150,000.00, the Standard Proposal Guaranty of 5% of the Bid Will Be Required, Unless Otherwise Stipulated in the Proposal Advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Actual Bid in the Form of Either a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Trust Company Treasurer's Check, Bank Draft of Any National or State Bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty Made Payable to the Florida Department of Transportation Must Be Received for Each Bid in Excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond Will Be Required for All Projects. All Work is to Be Done in Accordance With the Plans, Special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation. Contractors must have a current certificate of qualification in accordance with Florida Statute 337.14(1) and Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, on the date of the letting to bid on construction projects over $250,000.00 as established by the Department's budget.
