| Description | The project length is approximately 2,840 linear feet (0.538 miles). The scope of work includes: resetting of existing storm inlets and manholes; installation of storm drain pipe and storm inlets; removal and replacement of concrete curbs; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons; construction of new sidewalk ramps for disable persons; and, asphalt road resurfacing; and, traffic control signs. The Main Bid and approximate quantities include, but are not necessarily limited to: resetting eighteen (18) storm inlets and replacement of castings; installation of three (3) new precast concrete storm inlets including castings; 6,000 linear feet of Portland cement concrete curb; 1,450 square yards of Portland cement concrete sidewalks, four (4") inch thick; 450 square yards of Portland cement concrete reinforced driveway aprons, six (6") inch thick; nine (9) sidewalk ramps for disabled persons; and, installation of nineteen (19) traffic control signs. The Alternate Bid and approximate quantities include, but are not necessarily limited to: resetting seventeen (17) manholes; 13,000 square yards of asphalt milling; and, 1,800 tons of hot mixed asphalt surface course, two (2") inches thick, mix 9.5 M64. | ||||||||||||
