Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: 1) removal of the existing roof tiles; 2) replacement of dry rotted wood decking; 3) repair and/or replacement of fascia boards, to include sealing and painting; 4) installation of rain gutters and downspouts, which match the existing system at the front entrance of the building, along north and south sides of building; 5) installation of new high-temp underlayment; 6) removal of existing roof ventilation units and installation of new roof decking, insulation, and ceiling tiles in penetration areas; 7) installation of proper flashing at all other penetrations; 8) reinstallation of existing historic, clay tiles (replace any tiles that are broken prior to or during roof repair project with matching roof tiles); 9) repair existing bell tower located on east end of building; 10) repair two brick chimneys located on the south side of the building and place bird screens over the openings; and 11) perform any other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications.
