Description | The RFI due date scheduled for Monday, 25 July 2022 10:00 AM HST has been extended to Wednesday, 27 July 2022 2:00 PM HST. This Government task order is to upgrade and modify the fire alarm and fire suppression system to meet NFPA requirements for the new use of the work area from equipment storage to office/industrial, in accordance with enclosures (1), (2), and (3). The project duration is 251 days. This is a Prevailing Wage project. Trades required: Temporary Facilities (Office Trailer, Portable Bathrooms, Temporary Fencing), Final Cleaning, Demolition, Lead Abatement, Painting, Electrical & Fire Alarm. Construction Value $0 - $500,000 A Bid Guarantee, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond is required. In accordance with FAR 52.228-1, Bid Guarantee (Sep 1996), of the basic contract, a bid guarantee in the proper form and amount shall be submitted with the task order proposal. The bid guarantee shall be 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is less. Bonds shall be accompanied by a document authenticating the agents authority to sign. Within 14 calendar days after the task order is awarded, the Contractor is required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the total amount of the task order in accordance with NAVFAC Acquisition Supplement (NFAS) 5252.228-9305, Notice of Bonding Requirements (Dec 2000). For this procurement, the Bid Guarantee shall be submitted with the proposal via Solicitation Manager. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist. Liquidated Damages: In accordance with FAR 52.211-12: Liquidated Damages- Construction (Sept 2000), if the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the task order, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay until all work is completed or accepted. Davis-Bacon Act: Comply with the Davis-Bacon Act General Decision (minimum wage rates and fringe benefits) included with the contract award of the Contractors current period. It is valid throughout that period of the contract. |
