Bridge Deck Replacement CONTRACT BDR-1-23 & BDR-3-23 BRIDGE 3003N MILEPOST 13.73 BRIDGE 3005N MILEPOST 13.79 MERCER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA The BDR-1-23 & BDR-3-23 projects are located along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Mileposts 13.73 and 13.79, respectively. They consist of fully replacing the northbound bridge decks over Mercer Springs Rd, County Route 7 and Brush Creek, respectively, with precast deck panels and barriers utilizing accelerated bridge construction. Both bridge decks shall be replaced concurrently. All work under this contract shall be completed by May 17th, 2024. No bids will be received after the scheduled opening. Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. Proposals must be made in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a CASHIER'S or CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, FOR AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSAL OR $2,000 WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically . The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest.
