Downtown Revitalization Program Intersection Improvements

Base Bid - Full traffic and pedestrian signal infrastructure reconstruction at the intersection of Earl Garrett and Water Street. Includes removal of existing signal and pedestrian infrastructure, removal and replacement of pedestrian curb ramps to bring up to ADA compliance, updated pavement markings and markers, and miscellaneous items as noted in construction drawings. Additive Alternate 1 - Remove and replace pedestrian curb ramps at the intersection of Clay Street and Water Street to bring up to ADA compliance. Includes removal and replacement of pavement markings and markers, and miscellaneous items as noted in construction drawings. Additive Alternate 2 - Sidewalk repair at existing tree well along Water Street. Includes removal and replacement of minor area of sidewalk, installation of limestone rock border around tree well, and miscellaneous items as noted in construction drawings. All questions/inquiries regarding this project shall be directed to the Design Engineer through the Online USA website by Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Questions that result in changes to the specifications will be answered in writing in the form of an addendum. Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Kerrville, Texas, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that the contract and bond will be entered into within ten (10) days after the award is made. No bids will be accepted after 3:00 p.m. on the date of bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the scheduled closing time for filing the bids.A Performance/Payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price will be required. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, including non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional Bids. The Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder if the Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Owner to make an award to that Bidder.
