Woodcrest Drive Stream Rehabilitation Project

Involves the construction of approximately 3,640 linear feet of stream through channel bed structures, grading, floodplain reconnection, habitat enhancement, and replacement of a culvert for the Stormwater Management Division of the Bureau of Environmental Services, Department of Public Works, Howard County, Maryland. The replacement of a pedestrian bridge is also part of the overall project. The new pedestrian bridge will be constructed and installed by Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks. The bridge will be placed on helical piles, also installed by Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks. No foundation work or installation of footings will be required by the Contractor. The Contractor shall coordinate with the County regarding scheduling the stream work in the vicinity of the new bridge, removal of the existing pedestrian bridge, and installation of the new bridge.
