Description

The SR 22 and SR 223 Chambers Rd intersection west of Granger has a potential for collisions. Construct intersection improvements to reduce the risk of collisions. As of March 21, 2023, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Fourth quarter of 2023. The contract advertisement is expected in First quarter of 2024 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024. WSDOT - SR 22 / SR 223 Chambers Rd Intersection - Intersection Safety *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
