Description

The City of West Palm Beach is accepting proposals from experienced professional, insured and bonded contractors to provide all labor, service, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide high standard janitorial services for multiple sites throughout the City. It is important the City contract with reliable and qualified contractor(s) (herein after referred to as "Proposers"). The City will check references to help determine the most desirable Proposer(s). The City does not select a Proposer solely on cost but will consider all factors. Cost must be calculated to accurately reflect the complete charges for each location and type of work. The City has a high expectation level for services to be provided. The City expects to have the appearance of all facilities kept in a neat, clean fashion with minor interaction from the day staff responsible for the facilities. The contract will include a liquidated damages program for services not performed in accordance with the Agreement, or in an inconsistent or unacceptable manner. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to secure a qualified and experienced professional, insured and bonded janitorial contractor(s) to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, cleaning supplies and consumables necessary to provide high standard janitorial services for multiple sites throughout the City of West Palm Beach (hereinafter "City") and at facilities maintained by the City. The contractor(s) shall work with designated City employees to develop cleaning schedules for the respective locations. The work shall be scheduled such that it will not disrupt City functions and normal day-to-day operations of the City. The successful contractor(s) shall prepare a complete work schedule for each facility, which shall be submitted within seven (7) working days from receipt of the Notice of Award and approved by the designated City employee for each location or the General Services Administrator prior to commencement of work under this contract. The work schedule for each facility shall include the personnel by job title, days and hours personnel will work to complete the required services. Final Questions Due: June 29, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Proposers shall be responsible for examining and comparing the facilities with the descriptions and scope of work, to have carefully examined all of the contract documents and to have satisfied him or herself as to the conditions under which the work is to be performed before submitting a proposal.
