Lead Service Line Replacement Program Phase X (A)

Work generally consists of trenchless replacement of up to 1,500 lead service lines up to and including 2 inches, from the water main in the street to the meter inside. The work will include excavation, removal or abandonment of the existing lead or galvanized iron/steel service line, installation of a new corporation stop (if required), installation up to and including a 2-inch copper service line and curb stop and box, testing and flushing, backfill, soil erosion and sediment control, traffic control, legal disposal of contaminated or hazardous materials, dewatering, trench shoring (if required), housekeeping, full restoration to existing conditions including landscaping, sidewalk curbs, paving, striping, and other broken and disturbed site features.
