Description

Work is to prefabricated sheet metal storage building, delivery, pad installation, and setup. Contractor shall furnish and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment, and machinery, water, heat, utilities, transportation, and other facilities and services necessary for the proper execution and completion of the Work. Services and the product shall meet or exceed the following specifications: 5.1. Installation of Asphalt Pad 5.1.1. Contractor shall install an asphalt pad of approximately six (6) square yards on top of an existing asphalt road in preparation for erecting the building described in Section 4 herein. 5.1.2. Contractor shall apply a flat, level two (2) to three (3) inch high asphalt pad with a minimum slope of two (2) percent or one-quarter (1/4) inch per foot rounded edge slope that conforms and complies with asphalt paving standards and the Texas Department of Transportation hot-mix asphalt standards. 5.1.3. Contractor shall sweep/clean asphalt ground under building location prior to installation of asphalt pad. 5.2. Installation of New Steel Building 5.2.1. Contractor shall erect the 600 square foot metal prefabricated storage building as specified in Section 4. 5.2.2. Contractor shall anchor the walls with bolts into the asphalt. 5.2.3. Equipment and material shall be installed in accordance with recommendations of the manufacturer to include such tests as manufacturer recommends. 5.3. Materials and workmanship shall be subject to the inspection of TPWD or its representatives, who may require Contractor to correct defective workmanship or material without cost to TPWD. 5.4. TPWD will provide access to site location to Contractor. TPWD shall provide any electrical power and water needed at site location. TPWD shall provide Contractor access to restrooms.
