Item # 1: ( 909 - 24 ) OSP BOILER PLANT UPGRADES PER PLANS, DRAWING, AND SPECIFICATIONS NIGP Code: 909-24 Building Construction, Commercial and Institutional Notice: Due to the secure nature of this institution a security check is required for all planning to attend the mandatory Pre- Bid Conference. Attendees will be required to provide clearance information including, but not limited to, his or her full name, date of birth and Oregon Driver's License number. Photo identification will also be required for entry. No blue denim trousers, blue shirt or camouflage clothing of any type is allowed. Clothing with written messages, photographs or pictures and clothing that exposes the midriff, thighs, bare back or revealing neckline are not permitted (clothing with a small manufactured logo is acceptable All persons wishing to attend shall submit the security check form via email to: DOC.LEDS@doc.oregon.gov. This form is included in the Bid packet. Project Start Date: Ten (10) Calendar Days from NOTICE TO PROCEED Substantial Completion: 9/29/2023 Final Completion: 10/31/2023 Liquidated damages of $1000.00 will apply to the contract resulting from this ITB. Failure to substantially complete the Project by the, date of Substantial Completion, as specified in the Contract, will result in damage to the State of Oregon. Moreover, failure to fully complete the Project by the date of Final Completion, as specified in the Contract, will also result in damage to the State of Oregon Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that the Contractor shall pay to the State of Oregon, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $1000.00 per calendar day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date stated in Section 3 of this Agreement.
