NorthPoint Use Study and Improvement Design STATE FAIR PARK - STATE FAIR PARK - WEST ALLIS This project will review the best utilization for the space located at the North end of the grounds and then design the infrastructure improvements. In general, the work consists of the removal of two steel bleacher sections, asphalt pavement (approximately 7,750 Square Yards full depth and 8,350 Square Yards of Milling), concrete sidewalk (approximately 600 Square Yards). The proposed conditions include new asphalt pavement (approximately 2,500 Tons), standard and colored concrete sidewalk (3,550 Square Yards combined), water and sanitary A-2 extensions, various storm sewer replacement, underground electrical and communication relocation work, landscape and concrete walls, railings, lighting, and landscape plantings. Base Bids will be received as a single lump sum bid for: 5) Electrical. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's 19 prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state 20 building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after 21 September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
