West Cedar Street Sewer Line Relocation

The project consists of the relocation and replacement of approximately 2884 linear feet of an existing sanitary sewer line. The existing clay gravity sewer line which is located below Cedar Street pavement is to be abandoned in-place from Eighth Street to Copper Street. A new 8-inch SDR35 gravity sewer is to be constructed adjacent to and parallel with the south Cedar Street Right-of-Way, outside travel lanes. New sewer line will be installed and connected with existing starting, intersecting, ending, and service sanitary sewer connections. Existing sewer line and manholes will be filled and abandoned in place. In addition, project will include traffic control, contractor staking, trenching, backfilling, pavement and concrete cuts, sewer main connection, and pavement and concrete replacement. Project located on West Cedar Street, part of which serves as an off-ramp outlet from I-10, in Deming NM.
