Description

This work in this section describes the minimum material and quality requirements for large production operations of cold in-place recycling of bituminous pavement to a specified depth and width. a) The recycling system shall have the capability of incorporating additional aggregate (if required), grind, profile, proportion, mix, place, and compact the recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) in a single pass of the recycling train. b) The work shall include, but is not limited to, testing of existing bituminous pavements, development of Pavement Mix Design, maintenance and protection of traffic, and quality control over the in-place recycled asphalt pavement.
