Description The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS) is charged with providing health care services to the eligible Native American population within 25,516 square miles in northern Arizona, western New Mexico, and southern Utah, with three satellite communities in central New Mexico. In order to achieve IHS' commitment for improving Navajo Area's health care system, to allow better access to level of care, the IHS intends to identify potential sources for providing removal and installation of new fire pump at the Four Corners Regional Health Center (FCRHC), Red Mesa, AZ. The Four Corners Regional Health Center (FCRHC) is based at Red Mesa, Arizona. Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30 pm, excluding federal Holidays. General requirements: 1. Remove the existing fire pump unit. Disconnect power (including "lock-out/tag-out" procedure), water supply and controls. Disconnect and remove water piping necessary to complete work. 2. The contractor shall provide and Install new fire pump unit in same location as the existing fire pump unit. Re-connect water piping from disconnection point to the fire pump unit. 3. Codes and Standards: The Contractor shall perform the demolition and installation in accordance with the following codes and standards; - NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (2012). - NFPA 99 Healthcare Facilities Code (2012). - NFPA 70 National Electric Code (2012).
