| Description | Contractor shall deliver bulk rock salt with non-hardening agents on an as needed basis to DLA Distribution Susquehanna, New Cumberland, PA (DDSP). Rock salt shall comply with ASTM D632-99.Type 1 Grade 1. The contractor shall deliver the rock salt within 3 to 5 days after notification from the government POC. Total quantity on contract shall be for 1,000 tons. The government will order a minimum of 20 tons per call. The contractor shall be paid for the actual number of tons delivered. Salt shall be transported tarped and shall be dry and free of debris. Government has the right to refuse any loads that do not comply to this standard through the visual inspection process. |
