18th Street Corridor Improvements

The sidewalks and curb will be replaced throughout the corridor, new neighborhood identifiers, and sidewalk furnishings will be installed, and new roadway and pedestrian lighting will be installed, replacement of existing storm drain pipe and structures, relocation of existing water and sewer lines, replacement of existing roadway pavement along eastbound, and westbound 18th Street, and replacement of existing roadway pavement along northbound and southbound Cypress Ave. Bid Bond Required The City of Virginia Beach Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids/proposals in Whole or in Part and to Wave Any Informalities in the Bid/proposal Process and Reserves the Right to Enter Into Any Contract Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of the City. The Specifications in This Bid/proposal Are Intended as a Quality Indicator and Guide for Your Bidding/response and Unless Otherwise Stated, the City Will Consider Alternate Bids/proposals of Equal or Better Quality, Which Shall Be Accompanied by Descriptive Literature. The Entire Contents of This Invitation to Bid/request for Proposal, Any Addenda, and Bidder's/proposer's Response Shall Be Incorporated Into Any Resulting Contract.
