Description | The proposed project will rehabilitate the roadway by performing full-depth reclamation with cement (FDR-C), correcting drainage issues by replacing some existing curb and gutter sections, upgrading all non-compliant ADA ramps across the area of Joiner Parkway, and replacing some minor concrete sidewalks. In addition, a pavement preservation treatment known as micro-surfacing will be placed from Moore Road to 108 Joiner Parkway (Joiner Pkwy Self Storage), and new traffic striping and pavement markings will be placed. Bid Bond - 10.00% Payment Bond - 100.00% Performance Bond - 100.00% Liquidated Damages : $4,000 per day Type of Award : Lump Sum The City reserves the right to postpone the date and time for opening of bids at any time prior to the date and time announced in the advertisement. The City Clerk will report the bids to the Lincoln City Council in regular session. Each bid shall be on forms provided by the City, and shall in all respects comply with the Instructions to Bidders and the Contract Documents. No Pre-Bid Conference Licensing : In accordance with the provisions of California Public contract Code section 3300, the City of Lincoln has determined that the following license classification is required to perform this project: Class A General Engineering Contractor. Wage Rates : Pursuant to Labor Code section 1770, the California Director of Industrial Relations has specified the general prevailing wage rates for the public projects in California. The wages to be paid to all workers on such projects shall not be less than those specified in such wage rate determination. Disadvantage Business Development : The DBE subcontracting goal for this project is 13%. The DBE goal will be based on the total contract amount awarded to the successful bidder, which may include any combination of bid alternates.
