Description

Board of Governors for Southeast Community College Area, a Nebraska community college and political subdivision ( College ), is hereby requesting proposals from qualified construction management firms to provide preconstruction design consulting and construction management at-risk services pursuant to the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Construction Alternatives Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. 13-2901 et seq., relating to a proposed residence hall(s) project on the Lincoln Campus the College ( Project ). The College hereby invites interested qualified construction management firms to submit proposals to the request for proposals ( RFP ). The RFP and supporting documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply in Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska. . A general description of the Project is included in the Project Statement, attached as Appendix A-1. The general description of potential optional work for the Project is included on the Project Statement, attached as Appendix A-2. The College will determine at a later date whether it will proceed with the optional Project scope described in Appendix A-2 Following the opening of proposals, the proposals will be evaluated, the construction manager at-risk candidates ranked in order of preference, and a contract negotiated and approved according to College policy. The College reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the College. The College further reserves the right to cancel or amend the RFP and contract documents at any time and will notify all persons requesting proposal documents accordingly. The expected total budget for each project is anticipated not to exceed twenty-five million dollars $25,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
